Celeb Facebook Profiles- Authenticity

Though orkut has the masses, facebook seems to have the cream. Most celebrities choose to interact with their friends, co-actors, directors, singers etc through facebook. Most of all they are there to interact with their fans. Almost all of them have a good number of friends on their list. Obviously they do not know all of them. So I presume they have loads of fans on their list.

Since I am in the Online Presence Management for Celebrities space I thought it would be interesting to share with you guys which of the CELEB profiles on facebook are genuine.

The authenticity has been checked out through various ways-

• Personal contact
• Reporter friends who have interacted with these stars
• Contacted the celebrities and received response from them over phone.

So in parts I will put their profile links on my blog for you to add them [if you want to that is].

The names are in no particular order.

Hi,

I have written in my post as to how i know that the profiles are genuine.But ill explain in brief.I was a PR in the entertainment field. Most of them i know personally. I have spoken to them. Chatted with them. Others whom i have not spoken to directly,my friends who are reporters have told me that they have spoken to those celebs and hence they know that their profiles are true.

i ve been in touch through various celebrities thru fb and other sources and can certainly tell many celebrities which ve genuine profiles and they regularly interact..i ve recvd msgs frm Omar,Anoushka,Mahesh,Abbas and Manav and others on regular basis wheneva i had msgd
but never the less, adding them as friend and just being in touch are two different perspective as i see..i wud alwaz prefer to be in touch evn if m not frnz with em..
